Cultural connection through art

Excited to share a heartfelt moment from last year's Art Therapy session at APM Inala run by our deadly Social Worker Katrina McCleary!

This week, we unveiled the beautiful artwork created by our participants over four weeks. For Aboriginal peoples, art isn't just about personal expression; it's a profound connection to something greater than ourselves—spirit, creator, ancestors. It's a vital part of our culture, also helping us navigate loss and trauma.

This week we invited Aunty Lena Coolwell to present the artwork to Nathaniel Dunne and the APM team, reading the meaning of the piece "The Kaleidescope of Diversity" and giving her thanks to the help her grandkids have received as APM participants.
